New German cyber agency will be established in Central Germany
Germany’s new cyber agency will be located in the region of Halle and Leipzig. By fostering innovations in the field of cyber security, it aims at a better protection of the German state and its citizens.
The agency’s set-up is scheduled to start this year. A total investment of EUR 200 million and the creation of around 100 high-quality jobs by 2023 are planned. The agency will actively promote cyber security research and development projects.
