3.8 million euros for "Smart Systems Hub Dresden"
The Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport supports the further development of the "Smart Systems Hub Dresden – Enabling IoT" with funding of 3.8 million euros. The aim is to create a competence and innovation center for industrial digitization in Dresden and to establish it throughout Europe as a major point of contact for components of smart systems. Saxony’s Smart Systems Hub is part of the Digital Hub Initiative, which is run by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, with 12 locations all over Germany. The initiative intends to promote the networking of politics, businesses – especially the start-up scene – and research institutions.
