Eastern German Start-ups at TechCrunch Disrupt SF

Date:
Sep 18, 2017
Location:
San Francisco | USA

Innovation and leading-edge technology “Made in Eastern Germany” was showcased at GTAI’s “Eastern Germany Pavilion” at the TechCrunch Disrupt, September 18 - 20, 2017 in San Francisco.
The internationally renowned conference brings together young, disruptive start-ups, established companies, investors, and high-tech industry experts. An essential part of the program is the Startup Alley featuring early-stage companies. A group of promising start-ups from the new federal states was among them this year. The companies presented their respective technologies and business models at their Eastern Germany Pavilion stands and establish contacts with the conference attendees. Moreover, they had the chance to pitch to an audience of VC and other company representatives during an exclusive lunch reception on Tuesday, September 19. In preparation, the start-ups received an intensive “fine-tuning” to the American style of pitching during a special pitch training workshop in San Francisco on Saturday, September 16.
